Cold Weather Operation

Starting Aid Requirements  

Use the following chart as a reference for required cold weather starting aids:  Operation in ambient temperatures below 0°C [32°F] can require special consideration be given to engine starting.  At temperatures below 0°C [32°F], operate the engine at moderate speeds for five minutes before full loads are applied.
